Learning to see

Peering pitifully at herself, the girl exclaimed “There’s hardly anything to share honestly, most everything is ugly.”

So, whispering crucial secrets to her sister, long held-fast to her burdened heart. After releasing, she stood back to see what happens.
The voice of her confidante echoes back,

“You do not need to doubt. You are seeing reality. That is scary, too. Too scary for most of us. Are you sure you want truth? You could eat cake and be happy without lonely friend Reality”

The room is lonely. She stands solo.
